Raise
I got a raise this week. I didn't know about it til I saw it in my payslip. It was a raise of $1.60 more per hour which was nice although I was hoping for a higher raise in my earlier request to my general manager. However, I didn't state how much more I wanted, so too bad. Now I know...I hope they'll pay me adequately one day...

A raise is better than no raise. I am sure they would like to pay you more if they could. $1.60 more per hour I think it is a pretty good raise. Do not fret about the amount the Almight will multiply it in volumes when you need it.

Mum, I suppose alot of staff frustrations in this company is the unbalanced way they pay staff with no defined logic or reason. And we all know the company can pay, it's only a matter of if they want to. Other companies in the town who has less revenue than they do can pay their staff better than them so it raises some questions.
And I think $1.60 is good if I was paid decently in the first place, but I'm not so even $1.60, which seems alot, doesn't make a significant impact in my finances... =O(
But I'm over my pay now. Trying not to be too bogged down by it.
