I reckon Miss Korea should have been Miss Universe!!! The other contestants such as Miss USA and even the winner, Miss Japan, only looked good at some angles but Miss Korea is the only one that looked consistently good. What a shame! She was so graceful and carried herself so much better than the other contestants. I reckon she was ROBBED!
And Miss Singapore, Jessica Tan, was good-looking too!!! The rare time Singapore's rep actually looked like she can match with the other contestants. She should have been in the top 10, and even the top 3!!! She is no less prettier than the winner and I saw how well she carried herself.

My wife and I agreed that Ms Korea looks much better also. (much much better than Ms Philippines got won Ms photogenic.) Having said that, her Q&A was bad. James Kyson Lee(one of the jugdes, btw, he is in Heroes as Ando) asked if there is a choice of super power, which will you choose and why.... If i rem it, she said something like world peace and something like a wallet and never dries up so to help poor/people.Ok, power that gives world peace, maybe shd give to Sam Lee. then can come out with WPman, shd be a box office winner. then the wallet thingie, hm, that one is not suprepower loh. that one is call Bill Gates kids' wallet.(unless Bill Gategs for some reason decide to destory his family and look for another wife). This world peace and helping ppl/poor is a bit too old fashion to me. i think it is a taboo for Ms universe. It is like curry favour.On the other hand Ms Jap's answer was more "human" She related to her time when she was learning dancing, she learnt respect and friendship, she was asked about the event that help (or shape) her most (cant rem...) anyway, the next day my korean frd told me that the korean translator messed up the interpretation of the world superpower. People in the net were talking about it. But she doesnt know the details. Too bad, nothing can done. maybe the jugdes think she is too "hot" to be Ms Universe.Think she more suit for the big screen.Was Ms Singapore in the contest? nevermind, she looks like the kind that will say worldpeace and wallet that never dries up anyway...

What a SHAME! Miss Korea's translator lost her the title!!! Arrrggghhhhh..........Phill reckons Miss USA looks hot but only the pics in the Miss Universe website. Otherwise, she's not that great looking. I agree cos initially when I watched that Miss USA fell down, I thot, "boy, she looked good, if she lost the title cos she fell then that's a shame" but I watched the first 45 mins of the competition that I'd taped and Miss USA wasn't that good looking at all.
I did read Miss Singapore's interview on the Miss Universe website and frankly (no pun intended...heehee!), it wasn't impressive. The question was about what she wanted the judges to know. And her answer was that she had determination cos she used to be fat in school but with alot of work and determination, she worked out to have the figure she has now. I was like "what???"....that really sounded like a well thought-out answer. Didn't she have time to write down that answer?
